Maybe its so I can picture that morning dash to let the girls out a bit better

Ah, well, after much deliberation  I ticked "serious wellies". This was based on my purposefully bought proper wellies that I needed for countryside walks and locally down unmade road. They are Hunter's which were a good fit, strong and practical, and a style with a slight heel, so good for long walks.

But they are purple...not so serious! Plus, I rarely wear them now as my feet swell :(

So, dash to Eglu? Used to be OH's wellies, bigger than mine so easy to slip on, green & serious.

However, nowadays I always wear my lilac crocs as my Eglu shoes, not so serious!

In the summer I shall clean them for day wear & swap them with my current daywear, black crocs. So easy to slip on, and not at all serious. Sorry if I've messed up your poll  and also given you a frightening image

I have a pair of Boden green wtih a faint tartan style pattern on, very muted and very comfy.

I also have a pair of muckers from the Hawkshead people, for dog walking. Brill things, also very comfy.

The chicken dash? I tiptoe in my slippers which are slip on sandles from Rhode, had them YEARS and wipe my feet when I return. We have strategically positioned slabs of concrete through the muddy bit, and a patio to navigate to get to higher ground. I'd use the muckers but they're by the front door, and I can't be fussed with wellies for a dash down the garden wtih some sprout tops.
