Recommended Posts

some of you may remember my planned trip to Ealing, well I am here.

I went to Bravissimo yesterdy, I was feeling rather nervous I must say, memories of past experiences buying bras :(

but OMG how fab they all are. So proffessional and kind lots of advice, I felt like crying. I left with 2 bras and 1on order. I know I can tell you and it will go no further :shameonu: I came out with a 32GG......I didnt know they came in that size :oops: No tape measure she got my size almost right at first glance!!!!

I wonder what size I'll be when I lose more weight?? :shock:

So I am converted to Bravissimo :clap::clap::clap:

I am little up top - do you think if i go in they will make me a bigger size - about 36C all back - oh for a pair of boobs

I think is well worth just popping in to get measured. I was measured as a 34b at M&S and a 32c in a local bra shop on the same day. The bras just did not feel right so I phoned up Bravissimo and had a chat with an advisor and then went along to one of their shops. At Bravissimo I am a 28FF, and feel so much comfier and supported.

I adore Bravissimo and get their catalogue too - so many pretty things. :D

I bought a coat from there which was quite expensive but unlike other coats I've bought it fits me, it actually comes in at the waist instead of the usual 'sack of spuds' look!

Interesting isn't it that bravissimo early always take you down a size or two in your circumferance and up one or two cup sizes...that happened to me too...I went from a 38C to a 34E.....

However, post menopausal self is a little chubbier in the trunk, and as I couldn't get to a Bravissimo for new fitting this time as too busy (our nearest is Brighton I think) I popped in to our local M and S..(Chichester) where their lovely lady fitter took one look at me, and came up with three bras that fitted every bit as well as the Bravissimo ones,for I have to say, a lot less money (three M and S for the price of one Bravissimo) ...but I am back in a 38C again...however, I can breath now :D:lol:

What Bravissimo did for me though, is to show me (for the first time probably) what a well fitting bra should feel like, they are really fab and deserve more publicity!!!

My DD has said that when she gets a job after finishing her degree, she is going to spend all her money from her first wage packet on bras at Bravissimo :shock: She's already got a few from there as have I. I've said to her that we will both have to go up to the Covent Garden one as we've done it all online. I've put a little bit of weight on since having a dodgy knee so am not properly fitting my bras at the moment. Diet or new bras? :think:

My osteopath told me that she's seen so many women with the wrong sized bras on, she gives them her card and they can get a discount at Bravissimo now. She thinks an awful lot of back and neck pain is due to poorly fitted bras.

Hi Miffy

From my experience of both Bravissimo (another fan here) and losing weight you'll find that even though you lose weight, your boobs won't shrink. You' go down in the back size and correspondingly up in the cup size. So, if you're 32GG now, your next size will be 30H.

I would recommend going back to be refitted once you've lost weight. If you meansure your back size with a tape measure now, you can re-measure as you lose weight, and then go back to Bravissimo when you've lost an inch or two.

Hope that helps

Hazel

i wonder who thought up cups and what they mean

A =average

B = bigger than A

C = cuddly

D = detrimental

E = enormous

F = fantastic

G - gigantic

H= humongous

No offence to the natural Jordans of this world - i envy you - as a small C cup - my ES jokes the cat who always has his nose down my front is looking for my bosoms - cheeky devil - I think the cat was a man in his former life

I bought a black and white wrap dress from them and it's wonderful. I get compliments every time I wear it 8) I'm tempted to buy a spare for when I wear this one out :oops:

I also bought a raincoat and it's so nice to have a coat that fits properly.

Well once again Omlet has done it :D . I was down to London for a day out and thought after reading on here i'd have a look in the shop in Covent garden.

I told hubby i had seen it recommended online, he said ' on the chicken forum??' :lol::lol: we have a reputation :lol:

Anyway i usually wear a 38 c/d and got measured a 32F :shock: but sooo comfortable. Came out with 5 bras and a empty purse but nipped into a toilet when we had lunch to change into one :lol:

If I could post a photo I would, I have a great one of a friend of mine and myself recently sitting in the Oxford Bravissimo looking all sulky next to the bras (as both of us are not endowed to say the least). We were all on a visit with old school friends and they all insisted on going in raving on and on about it and flaunting their assets to us in their spendid new bras!
