Chickpea
I've got a blog on there: http://parapluies.vox.com/ but haven't actually got around to writing anything yet...perhaps if i get some free time tonight, but my mum's just bought the new Sharpe episode on DVD so it's pretty certain we'll be sat watching Sean Bean do what he does best! Cate in NZ
I've been considering starting an "emigration" blog......... I get a strange feeling that there'll be a fair few highs and lows in this process, and it might be a good way of keeping friends and family informed without interminable conversations on the same subject, it all gets a bit boring after a while. But Immi and I found that maintaining and updating her blog became a pain, she'd load up pics and they'd go in the wrong place, or mysteriously disappear, or her text would appear anywhere but where she intended it to go. It became a real headache and she got bored of it at the end. Is vox really any easier?
The Dogmother
I've never had any problems with Vox Kate - it's easy to use and the navigation doesn't take long to learn either. See my www below to have a look at it.
Cate in NZ
Thanks Clare, I've had a look at some of the vox blogs, including yours and Buffie's and they do look good . Very professional I'm just such a dunderhead at all things technical that I need an easy to navigate and edit site. Maybe I'll have a go when I get a few mins. The Dogmother
I sometimes compose in Word as it's more versatile (and spellchecks) and then past it in to the Vox window. That seems to work fine for me.
Cinnamon
Ooooo - that is such a good idea Clare Then you can add things as they happen,or as you tihnk of them too

Chickpea
How did you make your woodern raised beds. they look fab. I've seen the link-a-boards, but I much prefer yours. It's from Carol Klein's 'Grow Your Own Veg', except I made mine a bit larger, just got some 6ft planks of wood from the mill, drilled holes through each corner on three of them, and screwed them on to a stake at each end. That's one side done. I'm not very good at explaining things really, but I could photocopy the page and send/email it to you if you like? Thanks for the blog comment by the way! Popcorn
I think he could too Clare. We're still trying to get rid of all the gravel in the back garden to lay some slabs down....it's never ending isn't it. If the instructions are easy enough, I'm going to have a go myself first. I'm good with a sewing machine. A drill can't be that different can it
The Dogmother
I'd offer to do it for you Gina - but I'm too far away.
