pipistrelle
I've just seen the pictures of a laced Barnvelder I WANT ONE! I'd love a Bluebelle. Lemons orps look lovely too, as do blue orps. Lastly a light sussex. Hmmmm I do have a cube... This place has the orps and the sussex large fowl and bantams http://www.powerpoultry.co.uk Thanks Rhys, I had used your link earlier and that's where I saw the Barnvelder. I have 3 hens at the moment and that's enough for now...will just be adding these to the "in the future" wish list
Guest
Haahha I think most peoples wish lists are massive I know mine is. joza2210
Wyandotte BantamsLarge Brahmas Citron Sebrights Gold Laced Orps I keep all these but would also like some Lavender Orpington Bantams. Do you get citron seabrights by breeding a gold to a silver ?
dannablue
I think my 5 would have to be: 1. Gold laced wyandotte 2. SIlver laced wyandotte 3. Buff Orpington (saw 2 at Tatton Park yesterday and immediately fell in love with them 4. Silver Laced Poland (saw one yesterday at TP too) 5. White Silkie But if money and space was no object that list would undoubtedly grow and grow and grow ..

Do you get citron seabrights by breeding a gold to a silver ? That is how they were originally created but the colour isn't exactly the same. It has been improved so it now breeds pure. Daphne
mine are LF orps (check) bantam polands (check) and then LF croads creve-coeurs (either size) LF brahmas My problem is that although I have the spare housing and space for one or two more breeds, I like to free range my stock. My dream would be to have one large flock where the boys don't crow at each other, they don't fight, and they only mate with their own girls! meezers
I was going to say I have everything I want, except for an Auracana, Oh, and a New Hampshire red , maybe a wyandotte and I'd love a pekin or two- but that wouldn't be a good idea, with all that broodiness it would be just too tempting to get more hatching eggs ( though I could hatch an Auracana and a NHR and a wyandotte )
docsquid
In the unlikely event I'm ever allowed any more chooks, I would love the following 1. A bluebelle 2. A speckledy 3. A barred plymouth rock 4. A columbine/crested 5. A silkie (or several!) 6. A silver-laced wyandotte OK, three of these are hybrids, but they are still lovely-looking chooks.
