I feel a campaign coming on....

Oooh - can I also encourage people to go and say thank you on the facebook wall?

Humans are often quicker to complain than to commend and congratulate, but it's the commending and congratulating that encourages us to carry on being the best we can be. It might make them think about being even fluffier and more ethical on all sorts of other things if we remember to say thank you? :)

Good for them... now to take on Premier Foods, parent company of Mr Kipling... may be a harder nut to crack... watch in NB for a new thread.

Power to the people!!! :D:D:D

As a friend says.... Think it might have been Mark Twain who said "its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog"

I see that Covent Garden Foods haven't yet changed the ingredients lists for their quiches to reflect the change to free range eggs.

On the packaging or the website? I'm impressed they've managed to change their entire supply chain in eight weeks. Maybe they have a slow web administrator and some old packaging to get through?

I think it's great that they are now using free range eggs, although like some others I don't buy any of their products  However it's still important for companies to be aware of how people feel.

I noticed last week that Sainsbury's sell custard tarts made with free range eggs :D

Yes I bought some, but I didn't like them as I'm not a fan of custard tarts but my other half loves them

On their site.

They hate me at work on 'cream cake days', Mercedes55; I'll only have free range cakes (my choice is usually egg custard from M&S) or none at all.
