Unsecure chicken perches

I have five female quail, so am getting five eggs most days - what does everyone do with their eggs? I have a fridge full of them now, and only manage to sell a dozen or so a week! The most inventive thing I can do with them is crack half a dozen into a bowl and then fry them for a six-yolked fried egg!!

Not sure what you could do with them. Hard boil them and use on blinis?

I was just going to say the same Egluntyne! Or get some smallish tomatoes, cut off tops, scoop out flesh, crack egg into the tomatoes & bake. Use the flesh to make a salsa dip!

We have them in salads or on crumpets for breakfast.

 

The mini scotch eggs work brilliantly too...a bit fiddly to make but worth it.

Lovely to keep a hoard of hard boiled ones in the fridge to snack on!

Or keep a hoard of poached ones! Poach for about 20 secs then put into a bowl of iced water. When you want them put into a bowl of just boiled water for a few secs to warm up. Lovely ontop of risottos, as you cut in the runny yolk bursts out, or noce on a ceasar salad aswell where the runny yolk adds to the dressing.

I remember doing pickled bantam eggs. The thing was they were so fresh, that they were difficult to peel.
