Cinnamon
Is anyone else enjoying the new series? I loved the sweet (but tough) girl last week who got her investment Over the years,on the back of Dragons Den I have bought many things................. Reggae Reggae Sauce (of course!) Rap Strap (Brilliant!) Bra Angel (Again,an amazing idea & it really works) Tangle Teezer Itza (that beach towel with the annoying man who kept telling the Dragons how to run a business) Water Buoy (Hubby uses it for his keys when boating) What have you all bought - I know Lesley is a big fan of She Wee - was that a Dragons Den item??? Chucky Mama
I didn't realise that it was back on. I think Space Chick should go on with her toilet chair
Lesley
.........but I haven't got a Shewee I'm not sure if it has been on Dragons Den.........I'm sure I'd remember the pitch for it
sezra
I bought some 'Mummy Mitts'. They are these lovely warm mittens that velcro on to the handle of your push chair. They are are godsend in the winter enabling you to keep your hands warm when pushing but without the hassle of taking gloves on and off when dealing with the kids. And of course Reggae reggae sauce! Olly
Well, as far as I know I've never bought anything off Dragons Den, because I rarely watch it (although I did by chance see the amazing young woman of 24 last week, who'd built up her business whilst working at three different jobs). However, I've just Googled Bra Angel out of curiosity, and I want (need!) one of those. I threw away a favourite bra last week because of exactly that problem, and because I believed that once the underwire has come out, they are unrepairable. Thank you SO much for bringing it to my attention!
Egluntyne
Wow! I'm going to send for one of those! I once had to have my washing machine repaired because some underwiring worked its way out during the wash cycle, managed to get into one of the holes in the drum and jigmatised the machine. I bought some reusable cable tie type thingies that had been pitched on Dragon's Den once. They weren't much cop if I'm honest.
Lesley
I've always just stitched over the hole made by the underwires if they've started to poke through the fabric Is it really worth buying something to do the job?
Chucky Mama
I bought one of those covers that go over a rotary washing line to keep the laundry dry. They work really well but am one my second one as the fabric on the first one perished and fell apart after 6 months. There is a reason why some businesses are not successful
Cinnamon
I've always just stitched over the hole made by the underwires if they've started to poke through the fabric Is it really worth buying something to do the job? YES - they are brilliant & are designed in such a way that it CANNOT poke out again, which is what always happens to me if I stitch it I have managed to fix 2 bras now, & always have an Angel spare in case I need one again - I cannot recommend them enough
Lesley
I had a proper look at their site and they do look good and aren't expensive - I also liked the clips for the straps...... I have a Tangle Teazer but didn't realise it had been on the programme.
Sheilaz
.....I once had to have my washing machine repaired because some underwiring worked its way out during the wash cycle...... .....I bought some reusable cable tie type thingies ...... They weren't much cop if I'm honest. No, cable ties wouldn't be as effective as a bra angel. Sorry, after re-reading I realised the 2 items weren't connected. Yes, I bought a couple of Tangle Teezers directly because of the programme and think they're good. Thought Deb Meaden totally missed the point when she said it looked like something she'd use for her horses, she should have tried one, it works! Nothing beats a Mason Pearson, but for a handy, cheaper brush I like them.
Chucky Mama
I have had dealings with 3 people that pitched and they were awful to deal with - very amateurish and had no business acumen . No surprise that they failed to succeed. It is lovely though to see some people get a leg up. I still feel sad about the man who made the child seatbelt attachment thingy that died. It was in one of the 'where are they now' type updates that they did
bronze
I'm sure tangle teasers were around long before dd We have a trunki but not bought because of dragons den. In fact they rejected him didn't they and trunkis are really popular now. We got ours around th etime he pitched it if not just before
Cinnamon
Most of them are around before the pitch,I think As they all seem to have sales figures from previous years...I had certainly seen Tangle Teezer before their pitch
chelsea
I bought the non-spill dog bowl for using in the car, that was on DD.

Googled it - Safe T Light ? I've met Casey Jones, the man that had the machine that looked like a microwave + got rid of smell from shoes ... and then the machine that can make any wine vintage

I have a really smelly shoe cupboard and I don't know which shoes are the culprites. I need to find the time to spray all the shoes but there are so many in there. I'd like to point out that I'm sure it's not my shoes that smell but more likely the OHs. We bought a tangle teezer and I'm getting my new car from Ling -remember that crazy chinese woman? Hadn't seen the bra one but I really need those too.

Googled it - Safe T Light ? Thank you Lewis!! I haven't googled it for some time and couldn't find anything about it before. They're much nicer looking than the two emergancy lights we have. I didn't think there had been any investment secured from Dragons but the site says they did. I know Peter Jones was very rude about it - he's obviously not scared of the dark and is able bodied enough to walk to the other side of his room (in the dark ) to pick up a torch
