AnnieP
We have just been given this: Its a goose egg, weighing in at 175g. What on earth do I do with it? I don't even know if you eat them.....! If so, what do they taste like, and what would be my best options for using it?

Cinnamon
I reckon they must taste good,as they sell them at my local farmers market & farm shop An Omlette, maybe????? Or maybe you can pimp a boiled egg & soilders
bridgy chooks
If you are going with the making a cake suggestion, I had geese as a child and Mum used to (I think) say that goose eggs were the equivalent of 3 hens eggs so she would make a 6oz cake mix with one goose egg. Or you could just make a big omlette?

Guest
I just love goose eggs - I have fried one in a pan - takes a while but you get the very best dippy soldiers ever! They last a long time as so chicken eggs - so you could have think about things first, then do a batch bake. I used one in a batter and make lots and lots of Yorkshire puds and froze those we didn't need - better than shop bought ones! Oooo let me at it - I could do lotsxxx
