debbier
It is now back up, thanks to Sky News' lack of scruples regarding copyright Poor bloke - just shows how quickly something gets acquired on the web. Sky have permission to show it. So it's not fair to blame them! http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Strange-News/Video-Of-Transmission-Workers-Scaling-1768ft-Tower-Becomes-Internet-Hit/Article/201009315734486?f=rss
Valkyrie
I wonder who they got the permission from - it must have been the company that the friend works for - considering the numerous approaches to get it stopped. I notice Sky haven't mentioned who gave permission.
Paola
You could not pay me enough to do that. I kept on thinking that they had reached the top but he kept on going When he finally reached the top I did not think that there was enough room up there for one, let alone two
bluekarin
but not with envy I hasten to add. I couldn't watch it. My knees have gone and my feet feel funny I took the headphones off when he said about not using a safety line as it was much quicker!!!! Old Speckled Hen
Have you seen how much something that high sways? You couldn't appreciate it as the camera was on the guy's helmet but believe me there is quite a bit of lateral movement. Me? I can't even go up a ladder without feeling dizzy. Charlottechicken
It wasn't exactly climber friendly either, no proper rungs or anything handy to put your feet on. I imagine there's quite a bit of sway on something that tall and thin, do you know how much, OSH?

The Dogmother
I have sent it to The Boy - he's pretty fearless where heights are concerned... I'll see what he thinks. I might even try it out on the neighbour who is a fireman
