Pandora charms/beads. Anyone collect them ?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone collect these ? I must admit I am tempted to start a collection off as really like them albeit it a bit pricey. :?

Where do you get yours from if you do collect ? I have only seen in one local jewellers and some on ebay but bit cautious about getting from there.

Have noticed there are many companies doing similar style bead/charm collections too.

I am not too keen on them, but have watched the various threads on charms & charm bracelets with interest, because I like the concept of a more modern charm bracelet.

Anyhow,I was in Reading last week & saw in Azendis shop window a really nice one. Its sort of little silver hoops on a bracelet, & the charms slide on to the split hoops that are mixed in. I may put the bracelet on my Christmas list 8)

I have an absolute box full of them. I did some fairs with them last year. But still have lots left. I've got to use them up on other sorts of beaded bracelets, as I've gone off them now. Been there done that sort of thing. So if anyone wants a few beads ( for nowt obviously), just give us a shout. I just want them out of the way now - to make room for other craft stuff! :D

I now have two too. I started my collection a couple of years ago and was given charms for every significant event, birthdays, christmas, mothers day etc. It's so easy for DH as I gave him a brochure and circled all the ones I liked.

I have expensive taste so its taken ages but my first braclet is now complete and I've begun a second. I also have the necklace.

They are easy to source as more and more jewellers are now stocking them and you can order on line from official stockists too. I even noticed them abroad and on the plane when we went on holiday. If you want genuine stuff be careful on ebay though lots of copies are around.

The lovely thing is they are unique to you, they all look so different depending on the type of charms you chose. Good luck

I have a Troll bracelet and a couple of authentic beads - the rest of my beads are copies which I will gradually replace. I buy most of mine from Orkney Bracelets on Ebay and have had really good service, nothing is too much trouble for them.

The Troll bracelet is slightly thinner than the Pandora but then any the beads fit on it.

I have two pandora bracelets, but have loads of beads too many for two bracelets - silver (I'm working towards the gold ones but boy are the pricey) , coloured glass, emamal, crystal ones all sorts. I interchange the coloured ones depending on what I'm wearing - I have the chicken pandora bead but they (Pandora shop in Bluewater) told me that there were going to discontinue it :x So if you find one I'd get it quick. I like the idea that they can by symbolic and have hidden meanings - the chicken, the cats, the giraffe, the heart, the cross, the shamrock, the bunch of grapes, a shell .....

thanks for all the info, especially the Argento store. Had a look on their website and everything is so clearly detailed unlike some of the sites looked at.

There is a store in Telford that sells them but they are always so snooty in there and just hate going in :?

My birthday is coming up so going to sneakily print off what I would like and stick it under hubbys nose.:lol::lol:

I reckon I should have a chicken charm if can get one. xx

Hi, I have a Truth charm bracelet ( the only catch i can manage with arthritic hands with ease,on/off) i love the glass beads and have a solid silver charm with a bit of bling in between. I also liked it when i got enough beads to swap and change a few as the mood took me. I get mine from Peter Jones ,and on line....although Argos sell them now I just love them, i daren't add up how much it is worth!!

My Pandora bracelet has broken I took it to the Pandora shop and was told that it was not worth repairing. If I had the reciept they said that they could probably change it. It was a gift from my son and we don't have the receipt any more. I am livid. My advice is make sure you hold onto your receipt. I am going to get in touch with Pndora direct and complain. :x
