I think there was a mod posting earlier this year about only having small signatures with links etc, but didn't realise that would limit things so much! I can understand the 2 discrete links thing, but why the change to a smaller character limit and only 10 smilies... Don't know if that is the case (mods?) but if it is ... controlling much? We could then pop a simple link in our signatures to the specific post in that thread... That way those of us with lots of detail to share can do so, but signatures get neater/smaller? Know what you mean about photos + stuff - what about a links to the gallery (top of the page) instead of everyone making a thread/post + linking to it? Think it brightens the page up a bit too, some other forums where people only have a couple of words can end up looking really boring with just a load of text!
