Baby - new pics

Recommended Posts

This thread has made me laugh out loud! Callychook I hope your little one comes soon though please relax - as others have said the baby will come when it damn well feels like it - you have obviously made it a good home!

Hopefully this time next year my fertility treatment will have worked and i'll be the one getting fed up!!

thanks whoopsie... fingers crossed for the pitter patter of tiny feet at your place then!!

Still nothing doing today... so housework on the agenda. Hubby was very loathe to go to work today, he had hoped to be on the two weeks of paternity leave rather than lugging bags of sand and lengths of timber about (he works for a builder's merchants, rubbish pay and very hard work!) Every time I heaved my carcass over in bed last night he was asking "is it a contraction???!!" and got very frustrated when I kept replying "no, she's just rubbing her shoulders inside my pelvis" and "no I just hurt!!". I had to hold myself back from snapping at him that believe me, he was less frustrated than me!

Oh well, if she is another week late then he'll miss the big stock-take. That should be a bonus!

Oh! - you're still here then? - it won't be long......

I haven't heard from my friend so no doubt she will drag herself to the pool this morning - she only feels comfortable in the water and hates having to get out.

Get scrubbing that kitchen floor!

I was checking back in thinking I might see the baby has arrived...oh well...have to make do with your lovely chook pictures instead :D When my friend had her first, the baby was several days overdue and she was having a bath to ease the pain but the contractions came very quickly and she couldn't get out  The ambulance crew managed it OK and she named her baby Oliver. My SIL asked if he was called Oliver after the biscuit (ie Bath Oliver - a biscuit for cheese)

haha, imagine being named genuinely after a biscuit! I have a book about peculiar names and there's some very rude ones from victorian times! This little lady already has a name.. Raven Lilith May. That's if she ever decides to come out and claim it! I threatened her last night, said if she doesnt come out soon, I'm changing it to Phyllis Enid Farty. It didn't work.

Oh I do feel for you! Everytime I see you've reposted I think ooh the baby's arrived, all mine were late the 1st by 13 days, the 2nd only 4 days and then and I was induced with the last one when he was 13 days late, I used to tell my daughters who were 7 & 9 at the time that the baby could hear them arguing and didn't want to come out

I hope that you don't have to wait too much longer and that everything goes smoothly & you have your baby girl in your arms very soon.

lol still here... nothin doing but have eaten my way thru some good home cooked beef and paprika casserole with home grown pink fir apple spuds, and then cherry pie :)

OH just hummed on the bump in an attempt to make me giggle myself into labour (his goatee tickled!)... and babs wriggled straight towards him! Like a homing beacon. (I'm not going to suggest where he ought to hum as this is a family forum :lol::lol::lol::lol: )

My kitchen has never been so clean... I even moved the tumble drier this avo. The spiders don't know what's going on!

lol, I have been more active in the past two or three weeks than ever before in my life, even to the point of walking to the churchyard in the dark with the boys after tea, just to keep moving - gonna be so tired when it does happen!

Having a home birth (unless end up getting that late that I have to be induced) so will be laptopping happily (or not so happily depending on progress) to keep myself busy.

Hubby says he feels it in his water for tonight. I am hoping so desperately that he is right! She certainly is a VERY wriggly beast this evening. Thought I was having a contraction before... until the imprint of a foot appeared just below my rib cage in the biggest manoevre she's ever done! Once she stopped wriggling, the bump went back to normal. Darn it.
