egglepeggle
Hello to all, We have been lurking on this forum for the last 4 weeks, reading all your posts, to help with the arrival of our new girls. The original order was for an eglu Go and run package including 2 hens, but after several bottles of wine, I was convinced by my wife that we needed a WIR and 3 hens rather than the eglu run. in my drunken state I agreed. A week later we ordered a WIR from chirpy coops that has been assembled in the garden with a few modifications. Food hangers and other bits and pieces have been bought and all we need now are some hens. Tomorrow is 'C' day Thanks for all your help, this forum has been eggstremely useful. Any tips on settling the hens in would be appreciated. Thanks Egglepeggle (Paul, Sarah, Joe, Katie & Harvey the labrador) Esmerelda Margaret (T)hatcher henrietta Pics to follow as soon as i work out how to post them

C&T
I love your Wifes style! I think the standard response to this question is ensure your have a comfy seat, a camera, a hot drink (or bottle of wine!) ready to sit back and enjoy your girls! Have fun choosing! And if there are 4 of you (if I am reading your signature correctly) then I think you should get 4 chooks You can never have enough you know!! egglepeggle
Garden having some soil removed What a mess! Amazing what a bit off turf does! WIR from Chirpy coops Modified window to access the go without entering the run Table built to take the , ladder & butler sink dust bath. Looking a bit tidier, lets hope the chickens don't ruin it. Feeder/water hangers fitted, Unibed added, all we need now are some hens. Once again, thanks for all your helpful posts.
figarogir1
Looks great and I'm sure there is room for 4 hens in there Have fun choosing tomorrow and be ready for lots of entertainment - although if they free range the lovely turf might not last too long ! Chortle Chook
You might need to put a seat a bit nearer that WIR
Chucky1
You might need to put a seat a bit nearer that WIR Cheaky Chook is right - I remember when we first got ours we put two chairs so we could watch what they were up to - the girls thought we were mad Good luck you won't regret it
