Snowy
Well done Rhapsody! I think that must always be the problem with fostering - eventually one ends up staying! So will you continue to foster - do you still have room? (and can you take the chance of another 'failure'? )
chick wiggle
chickly, the big one on the left will be a horse sweetiepie, thats not a dog Doh! I thought it was just a very big sad dog (long face and all that! ) I'll get my coat
Rhapsody
you guys Ive signed the adoption papers and paid the rehoming fee. The American Princess is staying If anyone is looking for a dog to rehome I can heartily recommend Ironmountain Large Breed Rescue. Because the focus is on foster care rather than kennels you get a real life assessment of the dog and full back up. http://www.ironmountainrescue.webs.com

Lavenders_Blue
Aww, lucky girl, she's found a great home. Question is... are you going to continue fostering, and if so, how many more lovely dogs might just end up staying with you?

Rhapsody
Thank you. She is so lovely and so good I just couldnt let her go! Shes going off the lead a little now and typical American Bulldog she tears around but keeps with me and the other dogs in case we leave her all alone in the world these dogs are such big blouses! We have agreed to do emergency foster and transport for Ironmountain still, even though we are a Foster Fail. Here she is getting a lesson in Goat Snogging from her beau and mentor Zeus. So its not just mine then, George licks my wellies when i come in from the chickens Scally is quite selective. Only certain 'stick to the roof of her mouth' chicken poos will do Doggie kisses anyone? Rhapsody
How did she react Rhapsody, did she want to nom the chicken? Yes. We had words, then I deployed Eric Clapton Chook who pecked her on the head and gave her The Stare. More fun tomorrow!

Ahhh, aversion therapy Ruby is fine with the chooks unless they flap or run, then it triggers her chase instinct, so I keep her on the lead around them. Rhapsody
Ah but she doesnt just eat chicken poo- happily here at Overwhelming Acres there are many types of excrement to choose from... and after a hard day 'helping' you can crash out in front of the woodburner with that big handsome fella.... or pinch your visiting best friends bed even though you dont really fit
