Has anyone installed one on their old cube,I'm a little confuddled with all the pieces.

My cube roof leaks in bad rain,

I called Omlet who have kindly sent the kit to cure the problem, There a some instructions but it's a little confusing.

Maybe i'll let the other half have a look.

Is it a piece of material or some shapes which you put along the roof runs to direct the water? ( Sorry to be vague, but can't think of the proper name for this!) Some early models of the cube didn't have these fitted as standard.

I got an extreme weather kit from Omlet - it came with no instructions - some of the bits I have no clue where to fix them.

These are my items. Items 1 & 2 (counting from the top) I've put along the long air vent, in the back panel, on the inside - but the others ????

I've seen those on the cube that Jude had at the Moreton show, no idea how to fit them though

Yep same as mine, I have one sheet of instruction, I'll call them this afternoon.

Other half couldn't work it out either.

I have installed mine! I did get some instructions too I'll try and copy them or take pictures for you - when I can be bothered to get dressed!

Do they have anything for my Eglu which seems to have shrunk in snow -cant get back door on without a lot of pushing and a lot of swearing (vital believe me). Its a Go by the way

I've seen them on the demo ones and spoke to George from Omlet about them, ditto Clare. I think they were designed to direct rain into channels and stop the wind blowing rain in.

 

Think 1+2 are for the vent on the inside of the back panel, 2+3 I seem to remember were at the top of the back panel to direct rain into the rain channels.

The bottom 2 look as if they go, if you take the back panel off, in the bottom corners where there are brackets.

That one also had new gromits in the rain holes in the top of the side/back panels.

I collected some feed from HQ and asked them whilst i was there,

I now have the full instructions and can prob scan and PDF them to anyone who needs them (just PM me).

I ave now braved the cold and taken some pictures - hope they help!

 

1+2 These go on the back of the cube and cover the large vent.

These 2 rubber strips are screwed into place with no 7,8,9 the 3 thin hard plastic strips with a hole at each end one of which bridges the two rubbers.

4+5 rubbers go on the inside of the roof next to the bolts, they are secured in place by the hard plastic pieces 5 and 6

I forgot to take a pic of this, too dark now, will do this tomorrow if anyone wants me to, let me know!

I could do with one of those kits for one of my cubes ( the other seems fine). How do you get them?

could someone explain - are these bits and pieces an extra add-on you can buy to improve the cube or are they meant to replace a design flaw (perhaps on early cubes?)

I bought my first cube in May/June and it didn't have the kit

but I bought my second Sept/October and it did come with the kit already fitted

 

I just phone up and asked to buy one

I think they are for the latter because the newer versions of the cube are slightly different. I may be wrong though.
