sandyhas3chucks
Moult and going off lay. Mites or lice. Could it be a softee or a lash on the way. She gas ben to nest 2/3 days with no egg (having been off lay since Oct with one softee in between and some mini mini lashes. She is not fluffed up is drinking more than I would like but not loads, but is "not quite right" wouldn't you know a trusted vet not on till tom? bevmatt
Has she been wormed? - if not worm her Is she pale in the face as well as the comb? - this can be a sign of anaemia - lice Has she dropped any feathers? - this is her moulting Any rattling breathing sounds? How old is she - she may be struggling in this weather. If she is not quite right I would bring her inside somewhere warm and try and have a proper look over her - a few days inside with corn and water (perhaps add ACV and GARLIC?) If there is no improvement within a day or so I would seek the advice of a vet.
