kevf1
Why do you have to do that? Can't you just move your around the garden as and when you need to? or a walk in run... and eventually even if you do havea moveable run you'll get back to the same place.... Groovychook
Sorry to barge in on your post KevF1, but I'm trying to source some Stalosan at the moment. Just wondered if anybody in my area- Cornwall/Devon, knows of a supplier? Just being tight & trying to avoid the postage!
The Dogmother
I use BioDri or the NetTex ground sanitising powder
bevmatt
I am literally just looking into all of this at the moment with my friend. She uses a product that heats the ground up and kills alls sort of bacteria - coccoid etc it is an organic product and DEFRA registered for poultry. Cannot remember the name but will get it from her tonight... She applies it to the gorund quite thinnly and then as long as it rains or water in if not 24 hours later safe for the poultry to go back onto it. Off the top of my head, I think she said it comes in 10kgs bags for about £15 and then postage for about £7 extra. If interested PM me and I will get you the details. PeckyBeak
I have used Regency Poultry for over 2 years now and they are always very prompt and have a wide range of products. We got 4 of our original girls from them as well but unfortunatly they no longer sell chooks. I also use Stalosan.
