Anyone use these? My mother has sent us some, having tried them herself, but I wanted to canvas wider opinion. It makes marvellous sense if they work, especially since spent berries simply go on the compost heap. I can't imagine a much greener way of washing clothes, but obviously they do still have to do the job.

I used them briefly. They don't get things especially clean, and clothes begin to smell sinister after a while. I won't be using them again.

used them for over a year, love them, I put a little conditioner in still, others use essential oil. if anythings caked in mud I put a bit of vanish powder in

Tried them, they weren't too bad in cleaning, but my husband complained that his shirts etc still smelled a bit sweaty after washing. So I never bought them again.

I think Lakeland do them, I have never tried them but wondered what they were like.

Ditto, except that I do use them very occasionally for things that are only very lightly soiled. I did wonder whether one wouldn't get the same results with just the washing machine action alone and no detergent at all, and perhaps the contribution of the soap nuts to the cleaning process was pretty minimal.

I also tried them and did not like them at all. I use ecover - very small amoung and some drops of tea tree oil in the rinse

Same here I'm afraid - I really wanted to keep using them but clothes didn't smell clean after a while.
