I've been looking for something big enough to hold water/feed for 2 glugs/2 grubs in one trip and have found the perfect solution .

 

I use a 6 pint supermarket milk container for the water and a 4 pint one with the top snipped off for the food. Holds just the right amount of each .

We used to use plastic milk bottles for everything at the farm!

 

Can use them for layers, corn, wheat ... everything

The children used to help feed animals so 'cos it was a milk bottle they could pass it along and scoop some out the top

 

Also used to use them to empty the duck ponds!!

they are brilliant, I once trimmed some down to use as egg boxes when I ran out of the usual ones.
