Ain't Nobody Here
Well done . I've been totally pathetic since my race . I've only been out twice and that was only because OH had the car and it was the only way to get to my step/zumba classes .
sparkysmum
I know how you feel. Went out for a wee run this morning and as I huffed and puffed around a 3 mile route I thought of a plan.................Not a half marathon plan you understand , more of a get rich quick plan..........I'm going to write ..............Your 100 best reasons for Not Running Today It could be a bit like reasons kids dream up for not doing their home work. "I really did do it, but the wind blew it away", " I really did do it, but it fell in the river as I walked by" Bramble I'm intrigued by your podcasts. Old Speckled Hen
Well, three days ago I fell over the dog larking about in some very long grass. I hit the deck and felt a sort of "crump" and thought nothing more about it till the next morning when I woke in agony. I have two cracked ribs under a boob so I can't even bandage the area to give me some relief. By the time I can run again it will be too late to train. I wonder if I can transfer from the Marathon to the Half? I was up to ten miles...........drat!!!! I am so ppppppppppppppppp off!!!!!!! PS well done you lot you're all getting going.....wonderful. Does anything help Painkillers, red wine If you heal quickly maybe it would still be possible...........it is a major event & there might be lots of walkers. Hugs & positive vibes for your recovery. This is a link to the Amazon page where you can download the personal running trainer podcasts : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Personal-Running-Trainer/dp/B001E20FS0. A single week for any of the programs seems to be 79p, so if there's one you're interested in I reckon it's probably worth downloading the first week to see what you think?!!!
