abwsco
Thanks Sari and Cinnamon, hopefully someone else will be along who does use it. I need to find a cheaper alternative to my beloved Philosophy Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas.
Cinnamon
If you are after a mineral base make up,the L'Oréal one is good,as is the Clinique powder, especially the pressed one. I have used it for years in the perfect stay neutral shade, and would be hard pressed to find anything better. Whenever they have a bonus on I stock up and save the little freebies for holidays
lillybettybabs
I use Lily Lolo mineral make up, Very hard wearing i think a pot of fountaion is around £12 and it lasts for ages, They also do eyeshadow, eye liner and lip gloss - all natural. abwsco
Uum, have tried Bare Escentuals and Lily Lilo and couldn't be bothered with the faff of buffing it in and also didn't get the coverage I expected. Wonder if I could transfer them into my Philosophy pots and it would be OK
Cinnamon
Have you tried eBay for cheaper Philosophy stuff?
abwsco
Have you tried eBay for cheaper Philosophy stuff? Will have a look today Sarah as there was none there the other day. I usually stockpile if I see a bargain but none of the sellers I usually use have any listed.

cathybc
I have used the urban decay one. And bare escentuals. And clinique. And l'oreal. And lilylolo. And sheer cover. And philosophy. And smashbox. My faves vary, currently lilylolo. But the urban decay is on a par with the rest, imho.
abwsco
Thanks Cathy. I've also used Smashbox -lol My favourite used to be a Guerlain one but haven't used that for ages due to cost so they've probably changed that by now. Aunty e
I really like the Urban Decay one, but I have to have two on the go - one for pale winter me and one for slightly less corpse-like summer me.
abwsco
Thanks Aunty e, only just seen your post. I don't so the scary makeup counters normally (where they can make you feel as if you're something they've stood in as they have 50 products on and you only have one) but was brave yesterday and visited Debenhams as they have 10% off. The girls at Urban Decay were lovely, so I had foundation applied and went off shopping. I then went back and bought primer, concealer, the foundation and a blusher with no hard sell. Am also booked in for a mini makeover in a months time
whoopsie
cheapsmells.com are good - thank Reikiranf for pointing me in their direction!!! There's a new organic (i.e. ingredients) makeup called Une. I have their blusher and it's lovely, so i'll try more. I love Dermalogica for foundation and Clinique for powder though - expecially at Bonus Time!!!
