Worried about Sophie

Recommended Posts

Liz, she's no better I'm afraid, its still just hanging down and its still hurting her. I am managing to get the metacam down her so at least she's having something for the pain.

It looks like its either going to take a lot longer or as the vet said she might never regain the use of her tail. I think its just the fact that she seems so uncomfortable that's upsetting. :(

Liz, thank you, yes she now has slight movement in her tail and it doesn't seem to be so painful for her. It still doesn't hang quite right though. She's definitely a bit wobbly on her back legs though so I wonder if its something to do with her back/back legs. I just dose her up with the metacam when she seems to be a bit achy.

I am glad there is a slight improvement and that you are managing to keep her comfortable with the metacam, I remember this having an amazing effect on my old cat Toffee when she became arthritic, she would run upstairs ans then look confused about how she got there so fast :D
