How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Just curious if this is normal...

 

Josie my barred rock bantam (6-7 months old) has yet to make any noises that sound anything like a chicken. She seems to be perfecting the art of sounding like a dial-up modem. She whistles and peeps in a very high pitch tone.

Is this normal?

she's healthy and happy (?) in every way - just curious about the silly noises

My light sussex quacks and as she's young and hasn't got a full tail yet she does look like a white duck.

How funny I think that would drive me crazy. However, my pekin does caw rather than cluck but she is named Crow.

mine sing - I cant describe it but when I'm doing their grub in the morning and they are still in the Eglu they are making a lovely singy sort of noise. almost a croon - frank sinatras of the chuck world - albeit wrong sex

I've got one that sounds a bit like that - a friend even asked which one sounds like a trim phone the other day.

 

She changes tone too - which makes her sound like a fax machine.

Whilst visiting the local farmshop with my brother recently we strolled over to look at the large free range flock they keep. The nearest hens came running, probably thinking food would appear. Then, of course, the other hens noticed the movement and started to run. Over 1000 chickens running up the hill! The noise was exactly as you describe! A sort of beautiful but spooky crooning noise.

Sunday R used to honk like a goose. Peebles has this loud HAHAHA she insists on doing whilst wandering round the garden, she sounds like a posh, jolly hockey sticks type laugh. I did notice that they made funny purring noises in the dust bath too, quite unexpected.
