Guest
As a public service (Primarily for Richard and Helen!) here's a handy outlet thread!! There is merchandise - like this t-shirt with and old AC/DC rock reference: and there is a fantastic anti-croc rant-site!! Featuring (not for the faint-hearted!) CROC BURNING AND CROC CUTTING feast your eyes Richard and Helen, and feel all the tension ebbing away!! http://www.ihatecrocs.com/ (PS real crocs were harmed in the making of these videos!! Hurrah!!!) Phil Edited May 19, 2007 by Guest

chickenlass
LOL no offense intended to Croc lovers on here but... I must admit I can't see the attraction for them myself. Having said that they must be really useful shoes to slip on quickly to go and check on chickens.[ so I may well get some] I saw a chap a couple of weeks ago wearing 1 red Croc and 1 yellow croc. If Rev Nev is right I wonder where he has escaped from? lol
gooner.girl
You should know by now guys, any excuse for Phil to stir things up on this forum is a good one....
bronze
I love it the t-shirt made me giggle. I'm of the mind if I needed to buy something to slip on to go into the garden then fine but I don't I have trainers or flipflops for that. If I was a nurse then fine but you won't catch me wearing them out in the street and the only thing being different about mine compared to every other person is the colour. bronze
Oh I might wear them in public when sailing How eco friendly are they then?
Egluntyne
I thought the crocs burning clip was dangerous. as it set an appalling example of how not to behave around fireworks. 1. The camera person went back to the croc time and time again, stood over it and panned in to show the dead firework. 2. The twit actually trying to burn the croc returned to the dud firework several times and attempted to relight it. They both could have lost their hands and eyes. And it was a senseless waste of a perfectly good pair of shoes. I found the whole thing idiotic and pointless.
Popcorn
I saw a chap a couple of weeks ago wearing 1 red Croc and 1 yellow croc You see Phil, your secret croc fetish is out now. You've been spotted! No good trying to call everyone's bluff by sending us croc burning links....we know you love them and couldn't be without them.

Sounds like there were idiots when it comes to fireworks but might possibly refute the part of the sentence waste of a PERFECTLY GOOD pair of shoes

feemcg
Mmm..I love my pink crocs as they're handy when going out to the garden and I wore my black ones to work over the winter but those scary pics of kids having toes ripped off etc. - a bit worrying. Anna fell off her scooter in the drive a couple of weeks ago and the ankle strap of her crocs got caught under the scooter and got pulled off, stud and all .
