I've only been on here a short while, but one thing I've learned - photos appear to be compulsory

 

Finally found the login to my Photobucket account, and managed to get a few shots of most of the girls this evening (unfortunately Meg & Mog insisted on staying in the sheltered run, and wouldn't even stay still; all I've got of them is a few charcoal coloured blurs in the shadows ). The others were quite happy to post though, especially Delilah - why am I not surprised

There can never be too many photos on here of hens for me to long for . I love your bluebell and Florence is just stunning. A bit like a shy celebrity who's not sure she is in the right dress.

definitely a she - eggs in the nestbox (when she's in the mood - she's a bit of a prima donna at heart I think ) which can only have come from her, plus she was the only one the breeder was 100% confident about at 10 weeks, given that legbars are autosexing.

 

Agree she's definitely grown the most spectacular headgear though - must be the leghorn in them coming through
