Thank you all!! Yes Daphne is lovely but she does have a permanent 'bad hair day'!!! :lol:

 

 

The Magnolia is my pride and joy and it's absolutely gorgeous when in flower but boy does it make a mess when it drops it's petals!!!! So sorry to hear about your japanese maple, I do so like those :cry:

I've never seen a totally white Poland before and would have imagined that they wouldn't be as striking as the black ones with the white hair do, but Bianca is really beautiful. :D Does she get dirty as the books all say how difficult it is too keep those hair does clean?

 

Thank you! Well, I am surprise how little maintenance those hairdo's need! In the depth of winter, with endless days of rain, yes, they look a bit bedraggled but a few days of dry weather soon sorts things out and they look fab again in no time at all :D I do pay particular attention to preventing mite infestation in their 'bonnets' but other than that and regular checking everything is ok, there is little more to be done! You have to remember that Polands are much more interested in looking after their 'hair do's' than they are laying eggs :wink:
