stehaggan Posted May 3, 2011 Share Posted May 3, 2011 I am just having a vent for one of my best friends and I know its not chicken related in anyway but I always find this is the place people vent .. She was due to have her baby in 6 weeks and on good friday she had problems and basically he had died and she gave birth on Easter Sunday. I am really devastated for her as she was once told she could never have childeren and when she fell pregnant she was understandably so happy. She has taken all this really hard and she has lots of support from everyone but then today she has had another set back, the baby's dad has been told he isn't getting paid for the time off work he has taken and they can't have any help with the funeral costs which I really can't believe people would kick others when they are going through something like this It really is a cruel world and I just wish the guy in the sky would give them a break. beach chick Posted May 3, 2011 Share Posted May 3, 2011 I am so so sorry. one of my best friends and my niece both had still births at around 6 months last year. it is the hardest thing ever for the couple and families involved, and so hard to know what to say in support. all you can do is be there, be a shoulder in need - or even the offer of one, and also try to provide a suggestion - in due course - that despite what is thrown at us, life does go on. life is very cruel sometimes, and bad things do seem to happen to good people. xxxxx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
