Mine are very partial to grapes, and am now unable to set foot out the back door without getting pounced on! They will bring so much into your lives including eggs...what a bonus! I too gave in when I found out we could have a purple hen house Welcome to the forum. Chickens are great. We had a gingernut ranger that came with the eglu, Henny Penny we called her and she was the friendliest one we have had so far, sadly did not live to a great age but she was lovely.
