Are you sure it's nearly June??!

It has finally decided to stop bucketing it down here. Yes bucketing is the right word as our roof has decided to leak and the attic is now full of buckets. It was heavy rain for over 48 hors and if we weren't in such a well drained area I would think we would have been floating by now

Cold here too  it was 8 degrees when we got back from Norfolk yesterday afternoon, and a measly 5 degrees this morning

I had the heating on last night and this morning, but it's a tad warmer now, so it's off again. warm PJs in bed last night though.

Phil just came round and said that he's got his thermal top on!

I agree Shona it is minging up here at the moment :roll:

I actually went up to bed at 8 last night to watch a film rather than put the heating on I was so cold :?

The garden is like a jungle as the last 2 weekends I was away, the 2 before that were solid rain and this weekend I am working :evil::evil:

I have to get the sodding grass cut soon I just have to :evil::evil: I am getting soaked evry morning going out to the girls and the cats are coming in soaking as it is so long :evil::evil:

I have to say it is preferable to this constant rain

I have just looked at the forecast for the next few days and it says rain and thunder

Harry and Jules are dying to get the new girls out in the garden, they are putting them in the greenhouse at the moment, just so they get used to being handled, at least they can't escape from there

On a positive note, my painting is coming on a treat :D

I'd still rather be out in the garden though

No, although it does feel like it

Just the hall, stairs and landing. I am doing all the glossing, which is endless doors and bannisters

Nearly finished now. I have to fit in a full time job as well unfortunately

I need to call a decorator to put up the paper, I don't do ladders

If it does tough luck, I am NOT re-doing it

We are going through huge changes at work at the moment, so I would like to carry on and see where I end up.

I also like work (at the moment) and don't really want to give up completely. We have also had a re-think about future finances. We really want a couple of acres in Shropshire, no neighbours, loads of animals and a big veggie patch, not much to ask is it
