I initially had a lovely vision of lots of chickens bok-bokking together and setting the world to rights!!

 

Sounds a fab day - unfortunately it clashes with 3 other things already on that day/weekend!!!

It was mentioned in an email, as I queried the price of the conference, as it wan't mentioned on the website.

 

No idea what it is though, whether it is a first edition bound in leather and hand tooled with gold inlay, or half a dozen sheets of A4 stapled together.

he is also good mates with the guy "Fred Hamms" who wrote the piece the piece in P.P. that riled me up so much when I wrote in to the editor. He has a great sense of fun about the whole thing and calls me "Fred" each time he sees me know :rolls:

This event has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. Humph.

 

Oh well, to get over it, I shall spend the money saved on some new chickens instead. I do have one or two vacancies for polite, well behaved egg layers. No previous experience necessary.

Hi sorry for only just answering this! So sorry Egluntyne I should have got into gear for this one but to be honest that annoying black dog has come back for a visit again and making it difficult for me to get things organised grrrrr. Going to kick him into touch, and I WILL be ok for countryside live.
