Egluntyne
I've booked myself onto this. Click It is a whopping £50, but lunch is included and you get a book evidently ... and a chance to listen to the famous Edward Boothman.

witzend
I initially had a lovely vision of lots of chickens bok-bokking together and setting the world to rights!! Sounds a fab day - unfortunately it clashes with 3 other things already on that day/weekend!!!
Egluntyne
Oh ... that's a shame.
chicken bark
Looks good - unfortunately clashes with my ES birthday party.
bevmatt
Than might try and go - you mention a book but not sure if there is a book could not find it on the link?
Egluntyne
It was mentioned in an email, as I queried the price of the conference, as it wan't mentioned on the website. No idea what it is though, whether it is a first edition bound in leather and hand tooled with gold inlay, or half a dozen sheets of A4 stapled together. mostin
Not that I'm name dropping *cough* but when I next chat to "Eddie" on Facebook or when I see him next Thurs at the Yorkshire show I can ask him for you about it then, and what exactly the book is . I'm sure we'll run run in to him Egluntyne, he's still not forgiven me fir getting first place in our clubs egg show with an egg from a hen he gave me

Egluntyne
This event has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. Humph. Oh well, to get over it, I shall spend the money saved on some new chickens instead. I do have one or two vacancies for polite, well behaved egg layers. No previous experience necessary. gongladosh
shame it was cancelled. £50 seems rather a lot though (even with food)
