Further to my earlier ramblings about being nervous of my girls and being unable to pick them up and freezing as they ventured towards me , I have cracked it!

I finally this afternoon as they were out in the garden suddenly on a whim had a now or never moment, my lovely pepperpot clover was just in front of me ,I stroked her back and before I knew it I had picked her up cuddled her and stroked her ..then it was my baby ginger Poppy and then Florry,each one loving it and me too.There was no end to it .

9pm this evening back in there WIR and me opening a bottle of wine opened in celebration...A good day!

It really annoys me when people say "do you pick them up?" and look at me all confused they are pets and like a cat and a rabbit they - well mine loved to be picked up and stroked. Wouldnt you like some love if you were a hen??!?! some people......
