I really dislike crane flies, whoever designed something that looks like a flying spider was having a bad day. However, I haven't seen a single one this year, it is usually now that they're a pain isn't it?

Hey don't say that now we will get loads of them lol I hate them too, its the long dangly legs ewww. One fell on me when i was sleeping and also remember the tent being full of them as a child

I hate them too - they come in the windows to the light at night! - I am just home from the States where all the windows have mesh screens on the outside - removable and then they can have the windows open and no bugs can get in - its great!.

Set the chickens on them I used to set me cat on them. She loved them

I was attacked by a massive one last night. *shudder* (I swear it was as big as a dinner plate.)

ES and I were watching tv, the adverts came on, he said "Ooh, a dandylion'", I ignored him (thinking he had spotted somehting in the advert) then it launched itself at me and landed on my leg.

ES was in hysterics, laughing, so was I. But I wasn't laughing. He has been told to get his names right in future.

I like daddy long leggies. Get lots of creepy crawlies here in the country. I couldn't beieve it when we first moved here. Loads of spiders, moths, beetles, caterpillars, centipedes & the lovely daddy long leggies! You'd hate the spiders in my porch then! Never heard then called crane flies before.
