Trick or treat

Recommended Posts

I was less than amused last night... Rosie went out T or Ting with a group of friends, they were all under instructions to stick together and to meet me [at the local pub car park] when i had finished circuit training, when i would drop them all back home.

Well, they set off looking very frightening indeed and laughing merrily. I checked my mobile periodically during the evening and had to rush off after a voicemail message from Rosie to the effect that there'd been some girly falling out and she was standing in the pub car park on her own while i was 10 minutes away at the best  To say that I (and she) was livid is an understatement... as I hared off across town to collect her. It seems that the group had argued and all split up, heading off and she thought it best to stay 'our end' of town.

The plus side is that one house gave her two bars of G&B chocolate! :D

Teenagers

having read that chickens could eat pumpkin I put 1/2 of ours in the run - they looked at it for a bit gave it a tentative peck and walked off - I could see them thinking " shes been on that forum again - new fancy glug - wheres the water then?" OH thinks we'll find an egg in it later

We had "Ooops, word censored!"ody and I must confess I was disappointed. OH always puts by some lovely things. This year it was chocy spiders. Though I don't like it when begging is encouraged, I do like it when the littleuns dress up. One year, when I was living in High Wycombe, I had a grown up witch with a gaggle of small ones dressed as cats. I got out the sugar mice for the cats and made tea for the witch and then they left. As I shut the door, I turned round to see one of the cats curled up asleep in the dog basket! Luckily the witch did a count up just past my garden gate and so the sleepy cat was quickly reunited with her group.

Fire works are going full blast here now. I find them much more objectionable unless they are at propper displays.
