Guest
I've just had to sit through 'Alexander', and spent most of the 2 and 1/2 hours trying to decide if this is indeed one of the worswt films I've ever seen. By the end, I decided that, apart from the remake of 'planet of the apes', and the 5th (or 2nd, depending on how you look at it!) Star Wars film, Alexander was the WORST film I have ever had the misfortune to waste my time watching. So, before I hire any more DVD's and waste money - WHAT IS THE WORST FILM YOU EVER WATCHED??! Cinnamon
Cable Guy with Jim Carey There you go! You can stop the thread now! the worst, WORST film ever is Cable Guy (although I agree about the remake of Planet of the Apes and AOTC being real shockers too)!!! NO DAN!!!!!!! The Cable Guy is a Great film...a really black comedy Films I hate? Showgirls Any gore-fest horror The Matrix 2&3 (although 1 was brilliant) I will think of some more later, I am sure. rachel19
I absolutely hated Moulin Rouge - so much so i couldn't sit through more than the forst half our! Also Once upon a time in Mexico was pretty awful.
Nicola H
Rachel I am glad I am not the only one to think that Moulin Rouge was a terrible film, I just didn't get it...........
Louise
I make a point of not watching things that the media stir up into a frenzy the list so far includes Moulin rouge Titanic Top Gun I could go on No idea if they are any good as I haven't seen them
Popcorn
1993 Hugh Grant/Malcolm McDowell Night Train to Venice. Just awful. You have to watch it to see how comically awful it really is.

Excellent movie, Louise!! OK, not so good if you don't like jet fighers or Tom Cruise in his underpants!
Cinnamon
Oh No, I love all those films...Top Gun, Moulin Rouge etc! Classics! I really diliked Billy Elliott though. And I don't like all those Gangster movies like The Godfather & Lock Stock...
The Dogmother
Phil was watching some utter pants last night called Shaun of the Dead. I left the living room after 2 minutes and went to play on the forum, but he had it quite loud so I couldn't really escape it!
Ms Cluck
[i've just had to sit through 'Alexander', and spent most of the 2 and 1/2 hours trying to decide if this is indeed one of the worswt films I've ever seen.] Quite agree - expected Alexander to be like Gladiator -what a disapointment - it was a bit gay and what was the red bit for at the end ? think the director was trying to be a bit 'Tarrantino'' lyn
Louise
I can't really comment on the quality of the films on my list as I haven't seen them I was a big hater of Jim Carey films till I saw the Truman show I really feel my life is like that sometimes it really made me think I'm not in any hurry to see any of his other films though just not a fan. I have Miss Congeniality 2 and Maid in Manhatten to watch anybody got any coments before I hit the on button Oh Cabin Fever is pants too

Popcorn
Phil was watching some utter pants last night called Shaun of the Dead. I LOVED this film. Really made me laugh. A spoof of a 'B' movie. The dry comedy was right up my street Go on Clare - give it another go
red
I quite liked Dead Calm Am racking my brain to think of the worst film I've seen but can only think of the good ones (speaking of which that classic horror THE WHICKER MAN is on ITV3 on Friday night - and its starts at 9pm rather than 2am so I stand a good chance of not falling aslep before its even started!) TVMs are generally very bad.
Popcorn
I have Miss Congeniality 2 and Maid in Manhatten to watch anybody got any coments before I hit the on button I find these films just non descript Louise. Easy to watch, what I call lowest common denomintor films. Great if you like something without a real plot and a predicatble ending that just allows you to sit and absorb without having to do much else

El Jefe
Eyes Wide Shut - what a load of pants! The Avengers - love the TV show, but the film? Actually walked out of the cinema
The Dogmother
I've done that before Jennifer - I refuse to waste time watching womething that I won't enjoy - it irks me especially if I have paid, but I have better things to be doing. That's why I hardly watch TV at all.
Cinnamon
I agree with you 100% Life is just too short to spend it in a cinema watching a complete load of pants. And a trip to the cinema isn't that cheap any more is it? I have a group of girlfriends who all go to the movies together, but if it is something I just don't fancy (Like Bride & Prejudice .......... Bollywood............Arghh!) ,I spend an evening at home with a glass of wine & the Sky Box
Trish
Worst film, Seven years in Tibet. Felt like as well. Sorry I haven't been round fro a while been poorly.
Mrs Frugal
That reminds me, Trish. The worst film I've ever seen was being shown on an aeroplane in the days before you had seat back screens and could choose your own movie. We had to endure The Last Emperor on the way to Morocco. Y-a-w-n !
ali-s
It has to be the new Wallace and Gromit film I had the misfortune of seeing yesterday. The film wasn't very long but seemed to go on forever and ever ( me trying to keep my eyes open in the cinema). Good job I had a family sized bag of Minstrels to pass the time.
