New girlies first free range!

Lavender and Daisy had their first free range today....and I'm happy to say it went well! :D

It was the first time the big girls had seen the newbies....and their faces were a picture!! :lol:

Ah it all takes time, if they aren't living together already, that's the best way is to let them see each other, I integrated 5 new girls to 6 original girls with no problems that way, just by letting them see each other, and Frank the cockerel was introduced to them without any hitches.

I had both groups free ranging separately again today.....They all seem very interested in each other, but there has been no grumpy behaviour, so i am hopeful for when we mix them together in the future. My 3 grown up girls are soooo nice natured and the new little girls took treats from my hand today (the lure of mealworms is too hard to resist!! :wink: ) .......so another lovely chickeny day here! :dance:

What a lovely flock you have, I love the first picture it's as if the girls in the Go are saying 'What??, Who???, where??, where on earth did they appear from, haven't seen them round these parts before!'

 

I can fully understand why you needed Lavender, she is a real stunner, better not let any boys see her....she'd break their hearts!
