Strange things people do in cars!

Recommended Posts

Was sitting in the usual traffic jam on the way to work when the builders lorry caked in concrete in front lobbed what I thiought was a fag end out the window. I tutted as you do then realised it was a steaming T bag :Wish I could make a cuppa when sitting there in the cold I thought. Then when the lorry turned left the passenger was revealed to be a boxer dog. Now I've seen it all dogs making tea in lorries  Didnt see driver probably a cat

Sounds familiar Alis Girls. Hubby works in the building industry - he's office based now but used to work on site. When the weather got cold the lads usually headed round to the builders' merchants first thing, under the pretence of needing supplies to take to the site, but in fact to buy mugs of hot chocolate. Now I am reliably informed that the best way to drive a van whilst drinking hot chocolate is steering wheel in one hand, hot chocolate in the other hand and a passenger to change gear for you  Apparently hubby used to be the gear changer  I now keep a safe distance from builders' vans!!

Oh definitely - Rock on loud and singalonga Def Leppard. Then OH gets in the car and says "you must be deaf"!

DD and I usually do a bit of bottom wriggling in the seat and pointing at each other - she does most of the hand movements unless we are stuck in traffic and then it's both of us! Thank goodness neither of us have The Village People. It's so difficult to YMCA when you are driving.
