What a great article , I read it with interest and also learnt...

 

1. They are more like humans than I thought ( I might even prefer them to some )

2. That I must be really hooked on chickens to be reading all that to the end at 6am in the morning .

me too, never thought they would be that bothered, ha im going away for a long weekend tonight n my neighbour is attending to them , will be interesting to see if they do " punish " me upon return lol

Many thanks for sharing that - it gave me a really warm feeling about my chooks

 

I've certainly noticed my head chook giving any sub-chook I'm petting the old evil eye and I too have a little chook who pulls at my trouser leg.

Thank you so much, this is so interesting, I actually have a chicken who goes up on tiptoes and stretches out to me when I go out, so that was nice to read about.
