I had the camera set to sport setting, it all happened so fast.

Needless to say I swiftly put the camera down and picked up the water pistol, that didn't deter them so in the end I had to wade in and step between them.

Muppet (the gold laced) came away with a few scratches and a higher ranking in the pecking order :D , she was previously bottom.

Ugh I hate intros  .

I know it's not nice to see chooks having a bit of 'argy bargy' but those photographs are great!

Thank you  . It's not nice to watch, especially when their your own :anxious: .

Thankfully things have settled down a little now, with only minor pecks and chases  . Be a while before I let them sleep together.

I don't know who finds it more stressful me or the girls  .

They have all been mingling in the same run for a few weeks now with no problems, but still choosing to sleep in their separate quarters............................until tonight :dance::D .

It was Pudding who made the decision that she wanted to sleep with the oldies (wouldn't mind but she is suffering crop issues at the moment  ) Treacle was a little unsure, but in the end decided she didn't want to be alone :boohoo: .Don't know if it will last though, there was quite a bit of argy bargy and head pecking and poor old Pudding copped for it in the eye from Muppet (naughty girl :shameonu: ).

Doing well overall though :D

Thanks, I have taken things slowly and let the girls decide when they want to be friends. Top chook Rosie has surprised me though as she is very tolerant of the newbies and will even share a corn cob with them, until she gives them the eye

I like the barred chooks who in both pictures seem intent on 'not noticing what the neighbours get up to'

:lol: Yeah! That'll be Pudding, any signs of violence and she wanders off and whistles to herself, unless it's aimed at her, then she's off like a shot :D .
