Peacocks

[WitchHazel]

Just came across this from the Practical Poultry forum....

http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/news/crime/callous-thieves-stole-1-000-designer-hen-coop-from-northampton-home-leaving-six-birds-for-dead-1-3548481#

They are so heavy, it must have been a well planned and organised theft. Shocking.

[LolaLayla]

Absolutely As said this must have been well planned.

[Snowy]

Blimey! Wish they had given more details of the stolen cube - it's not a million miles from me, would be good to know what we were keeping a look out for!

[majuka]

Disgusting, poor man must be so distraught, I hope at least some of his hens survived and make it home

[Chicken shack]

Devestating.

[Looney]

Disgusting

They are so heavy,. Shocking.

Absolutely horrendous...poor chooks.

I don't think weight or bulk matters providing the little gits are prepared....anything goes.

Lots of reports of beehives being stolen and we're talking about something that can weigh 30-40 kg and is full of assassins.

My neighbour had 2000 litres of heating oil stolen from a newly filled oil tank while he was at dinner with me and hubby.

[Geoid]

PC Gareth Court said officers believed the thieves used a van or another vehicle to remove the hen house.

Really

Terrible news, I hope the thieves are caught and the rest of the hens are found safe and well.

Fed up with these people - have they nothing better to do - I have scribbled over my go with an invisible pen. Asked OH is we could put a few landmines in the back garden - we are having a lot of burgaries round here. He's worried as he knows if I could I would - bolshy mare I am

[lillybettybabs]

it would be good to know what colour etc so we all can look out for it.

[Lewis]

What a shame for them

Would be a good idea to keep an eye on the forums and eBay for listings in the surrounding areas!
