Eggasperated
Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I had to have a wisdom tooth removed this morning under gas and air at the local hospital. With all the chicken illness last week I forgot to get myself anything in I would be able to eat - have had a banana mashed up with some warmed ice-cream, and managed to slurp my way through a mug of tea but still feeling hungry. Really don't know what I've got in the house to eat - apart from the remains of the probiotic yoghurt Alice was having .

Ain't Nobody Here
Ouch, poor you . Hope you manage to find something easy to eat . Do be careful not to get it infected - I ended up with horrendous pain on holiday once, a week after getting a wisdom tooth out .
emily95
Ouch! I hope you find something easy to eat soon! (maybe some mashed potato?) I'm a bit terrified because a recent X-ray at the Dentist's shows all four of my wisdom teeth on their way
Eggasperated
Girls have obliged with eggs, also thought I could stew some of my forced rhubarb and make some custard. Oh dear ANH, that must have been awful. Emily95 - all 4! Oh my goodness .

AndreaT
Hope you feel better soon. I had all 4 of mine out at once! The plus side was that I had it under general anaesthetic so didn't have to witness what the dentist was doing to me If I remember (it was a long time ago) I think I lived on soup, mash and tinned spaghetti. Nice
Henslaved
Ouch! I remember when I had one of mine removed. The dentist had to take it out in pieces as it was impacted . Several months later I found a couple of splinters of tooth poking through that he missed . I lived on tomato soup and semolina afterwards. Not nice I know, but salt water rinses after food should keep any infection at bay. Hope your feeling better soon.
Looney
Ouch! Hope you feel better soon x I have two partially erupted wisdom teeth and I'm praying they stay where they are as the pain I suffered when one of them was descending was terrible and I'm more than happy now it appears to have stopped coming through! The Dogmother
You have my sympathy; I've had all four of mine out. I seem to remember eating a lot of soup at the time.

Cinnamon
You have my sympathies too. I had 3 out under a general in Hospital,& then got an infection in one hole....it was total agony...never ever been in so much pain. I was actually banging my head on the wall I was in so much pain. No one in Hospital had given me any after care tips or even mentioned warm salt solutions ... they just discharged me It still aches now in cold weather,so be really, really strict with the salt rinses & even get a syringe & squirt the solution directly into the hole if you can.
