Sheilaz
Numpty here, I've looked everywhere, can't find the right button, I need an Omleteer please! I have a Toshiba. Sometimes when I have the cursor hovering, the print size suddenly reduces, as if I've pressed something. It's tiny at the moment! I can't find a changing font size icon anywhere, I knew where to find it on the PC. Also, I don't know how it keeps happening, unless there's a little monster inside my computer. Any ideas, I can barely read this!

yvonne
I find laptops often think you are touching the touchpad when you are just near it. Not used mine for a while, but I'm sure there are settings in the control panel to make it less sensitive. Hope this helps
bluekarin
Not sure if its the same on a laptop, but once I accidently made my screen font smaller. Turned out I was pressing the control key whilst scrolling the mouse But it was a good shortcut to learn, and was rather smug that IT guru hubby didn't know of it Maybe try that and see if you did the same as me. Other than that, I'd Google your laptop model and see if there are suggestions on how to change it. Good luck!
Geoid
On the touchpad pinch to fingers together. This should make the size bigger. To stop it happening again, go to the control panel then mouse then device settings look for an option called pinch and deselect the check box to disable it. Sheilaz
Omleteers do it again! I had the reply I needed from Mummyhen within 3 minutes, far quicker and easier than searching on the computer website, thank you. Yes, Yvonne & Bluekarin, I must be doing something unknowingly along those lines, thanks for making me feel less of a numpty. Fred, amazing as always, that might stop it changing, thanks. Thanks everyone!

Sheilaz
Just needed this again and had forgotten the solution. Logged on, searched for this topic, problem solved, thanks again! Now off to be interviewed by YD about my memory for her psychology work, she needed one of her oldest relatives, thanks! Will try and remember the resizing tips this time, I keep doing something to touchpad by mistake, but control 0 or + is brilliant, thanks again everyone! The Dogmother
I hate touchpads on laptops and usually use a tiny plug-in laptop mouse instead.
