The Weather Thread # 7

We took ED back to uni this evening and the fog on the M5 was awful especially for about 5 miles on the way back when I was driving  We were both peering into the gloom hoping that we were in the right lane and we weren't going to hit anything, pretty scary  It is below freezing too, the temperature dropped very suddenly after dark.

We had freezing fog as well Liz, it was thick enough when I left work, but when I went to collect Rosie from lifeguard training, the fog had frozen on the windscreen and visibility was very poor, even in the town centre.

Warmer this morning at 1.2deg when I got up, it's now 3.3deg but grey and dismal. I see in the papers that we're due for a very cold snap starting on Sunday and lasting for 3 weeks.

I have bought a massive piece of sheeting from tarpaflex to cover the kennel front and chicken run in preparation for the cold snap.Dylan and Dawn were playing tunnel mazes in it and sit on the spangle as i was unfolding and cutting.

It was the size of my garden but it was in the sale (have lots left) but hopefully no snow drifts if it arrives!
