chickencam Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I think it is supposed to be coming through the south west and midlands first and later the east coast, starting on Saturday. It brightened up here briefly and I got a few outdoor jobs done, but it is really dark already here. I think that the fog may well close in again soon. The weather lady on the BBC lunchtime news for the west it depends what type of air we get ??? as its coming from both sides think she must be covering her back because im sure all weather depends on that .... Anyway I have not got the kids proper snow footwear I suspect we will be getting it and as I still havent cut up more kinddling its a definate, however if do the two above we will be sure for a heatwave ..... It's very chilly here now and the dogs are snuggled in their beds, wearing their Hotterdogs coats. They need them; my kitchen gets rather parky! OH left for work half an hour ago and shouted "Snow!" as he left, I didn't believe him, but it's true, and falling faster now! Should've known it was coming, the temperature dropped considerably yesterday and the skies darkened over. The Dogmother Posted January 12, 2013 Author Share Posted January 12, 2013 We've had snow, quite hard at times but too wet to settle, managed to leave my gloves at home when I went to walk the dogs so it was a bit bracing! Had a dog walk this afternoon and collected a brace of pheasants, which are currently hung outside out of the reach of two very frustrated cats! Spent a lovely relaxed weekend largely playing with my iPad and playing the vry addictive SongPop game with my children and anyone else who is equally addicted.
