chickencam
-4 here too, the first time this year that the chook water was frozen. We had a lovely pink sunrise, but it is grey and overcast now. YD is going to Cribbs causeway with the school this evening for a christmas shopping treat, I am just hoping that the promised heavy rain doesn't turn into snow. The Dogmother
Phil just sent me this picture of the snow on the farm this morning; it's taken from his bedroom window looking across the valley. They are probably at the highest point in the Chilterns.

The Dogmother
Last night it was blowing a gale, sleeting and 2deg, the wind was so bad I had to shut the bedroom window calm when I got up, but reverted to vile status 30 mins later when I was out with the dogs. Now windy and sunny. Phil has snow falling in the Chilterns. Radio said this morning that we're to expect a 'big freeze from Russia next week'.
