Cinnamon
MetCheck has been my weather site of choice for ages now,but today all I can get is spam type adverts on its page Anyone else having problems? What other reliable weather sites do people use?????
craftyhunnypie
I always use BBC Weather. Usually right for us. Emma.x
Ain't Nobody Here
I use the Met Office site which has just been revamped and is much nicer that it used to be . I like the "timeline" option - gives a really clear forecast for each day. It's been pretty accurate recently.
Groovychook
I use AccuWeather.com and the BBC. I gave up on metcheck ages ago because it became so unreliable. Not the forecasting necessarily, just the ability to access it!
The Dogmother
None... I just look at my weather station and look out of the window.. usually works for me. A friend occasionally gives me an update on our morning dog walk, or if Phil's around then he tells me as he's a bit obsessed and listens to the radio or TV whereas I don't. soapdragon
Met Office here too..............you can get very local forecasts and I have always found them to be extremely reliable!
Charlottechicken
I just look out of the window if I don't catch local weather on the radio or on BBC in the morning. Wouldn't touch Metcheck again on principle, the founder was done for 'grooming' so maybe the problem is his internet connection from jail
Cinnamon
Looking out the window is all very well, but I often want to know if it will rain in 6 hours time, which a good weather site has been able to tell me I like the Met Office one - thanks to those that recommended it
Snowy
I use Accuweather or Met Office - I like the longer range forecasts to plan what we need to take camping with us. Off to the Isle of Wight on Sunday, but can I find two weather sites that agree? Well, they all agree that it will rain, but no one can agree on which days it will rain I want to plan a fishing trip!!
Chook n Boo Mum
IOW Cathy? Wave as you get down this end, on way to the ferry.......assume you'll come down to Portsmouth from the west (A3/M3) rather than the East so you'll miss us (Chichester) ......Have a great holiday xx Weather-forecasting?.......either the window or weatherstation, as per Clare, tho DH uses Meteoblue (I think it's called ) which is apparently quite accurate..... chickencam
Another Met Office user here. I have a bit of a weather obsession, I have a weather station and I also listen to local forcasts. I can't seem to find any long range options on the new Met Office pages though any ideas. I used to like to look a couple of weeks ahead even if it wasn't that acurate it usually gave me an idea of the general trend.
