Well done thats brilliant - be warmed though thats shows are very addictive!

Sadly the hen looks like a hybrid and so would be limited to novice or crossbreed classes but its a great way to start and when you have the bug properly its worth considering a pure breed or two :D

Thanks again guys

@ Redwing I do have a pure bread I was really sad she didn't get second or even first she is a Cream Legbar but I think because she is at the bottom of the Pecking order she had a few scabby nic's on her comb and they didn't like it but she has a fab tail and really good coverage of feathers a nice red comb and she had lovely clean feet too :0?

Any tips for getting her looking her best?

She isnt a great example of a Cream Legbar unfortunately, they arent popular with judges at the best of times either so you are doubly struggling. I think her comb is very big - she should have a crest behind a small comb. To give her the best chance if you want to show her its worth massaging some gentle handcream or Vaseline in to her comb to heal the scabby bits, also use a small dog crate (or similar) at home to get her used to being in a small space and handle her a lot

Sorry to be negative! I dont mean to be honestly. Small local shows are an ideal way to build up some experience, keep at it :D
