xScrunchee
How have you been getting on with your lightbox Karl?? I am now on day 3 of having mine and I can honestly say that it really does seem to have made a BIG difference!! I have suffered with SAD since I was a teen and have always dreaded the autumn/winter even though I much prefer the cooler weather, cosier evenings, winter dinners etc. I now feel more like me again. I have more energy and motivation, not so snappy-not dreading the day ahead. It's brilliant. Just wanted to say that if anyone else sufferes with SAD-get a lightbox. I suffered for 15+ years and wish I had got one a lot sooner. I just always put it off thinking that it was pretty expensive for a light. Lesley
Glad to hear you are benefitting from your light. Our Lumie alarm is coning into use again with the dark mornings. I don't suffer from SAD but hate getting up in the dark through winter - we use a Lumie Alarm which wakes us up with a sunrise - we love it. It was a bit expensive as an alarm clock but waking gently with light is a much better start to the day and has been worth every penny.
