Indispensable Hobbes
My friend made some of these for a charity event at my old job. Basically she got some oasis from a florist, cut it to shape and stuck it onto a broom handle which was wedged into a clay pot then decorated. Lollys stuck in with their sticks and wrapped sweets pinned on with pins.
quickcluck
Its seems you have to weigh the stem down to stop it toppling over. Plaster or Paris is the fave..... will have to track some down!
Indispensable Hobbes
Yes something to weigh it down is necessary, the one she made was quite small, she used chupachups i think, it took quite a lot and was REALLY heavy lol
Chickendoodle
OK feeling a bit thick here - how do you get the sweets on to the trees. I understand about lollies as they have sticks but you can't put a pin through a malteser
