This is the first time this has happened since I got the three new girls in September ! Sadly two of the eggs were softies (probably Betty and Bessie's as they are both moulting at the moment), but even so, I'm impressed! And Bessie hasn't laid an egg in months! Angie Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 5 eggs...well done those hens, i have 4 hens and they are on winter strike now and i have had to buy eggs....i'm quite aghast at having to buy them, so January and lighter evenings should just hurry along now bought eggs just don't taste the same. To be fair 2 are in moult (and one has been sick) and the 2 new girls are a bit young but that doesn't stop my lovely OH moaning about free loaders!
