She has spent the last 15 years cat-proofing their garden as they feed the birds and have a pond with frogs and newts so they don't really want a cat. Plus she could have kept this cat if she had really wanted to! I had a text last night from the lady who has rehomed him, he spent last night snoozing in front of the fire with her other cat and dog, so it looks like he has settled in brilliantly. Perhaps an older cat that just wants to snooze rather than hunt? I've got two of those - wouldn't dream of going outside ! Has re-homed kitty got a name yet?
